Plant protection is run on a thin margin and a tight clock — agronomists in the field, decisions taken in the office, a regulator who wants the records. The client needed one platform that worked the same way on a laptop in the office and a phone in a field, and that produced operational data managers could actually trust to plan from.
Kola built the platform in Laravel and Livewire — one codebase serving both the web app and the mobile app, so the office and the field run on the same data model and the same business rules. Field activity — treatments, observations, conditions — gets recorded once and ripples through the platform without re-keying.
The analytics layer is wired directly into Power BI, the client's existing reporting tool, so dashboards are live rather than exported. Managers see what's happened in the last hour, not what was extracted yesterday.
Field teams record once. Office teams plan from data that's hours fresh. The regulator gets the records they want from the system rather than from a reconstruction. And because the web and mobile apps share a stack, what ships to one ships to the other on the same release.
